Reading Assignment: Read the Introduction of VQG: Premiere 6; review highlights of Chapters 1-3, with reference to Premiere software if you have it. 1. Study Assignment: Watch TV advertisements and/or movie trailers and pay attention to the editing details: timing, transitions, juxtapositions, special effects, soundtrack, etc. Make notes of effects you would like to incorporate into your own videos. 1. Download Assignment: If you don't own a copy of Premiere 6.0, download the trial version from the Adobe website (also available from your class website Downloads and Resources pages). This evaluation copy is good for 30 days, which will take you beyond the last day of this class (12/16).
